Great news! Dancing With The Stars' second episode Wednesday night won best ratings nationally. Below is some information about voting:
The telephone lines seem to always be busy, so online seems to be the best way, and you can vote online through the whole week, right up to midnight of Tuesday before the next show.
A few people are having trouble voting online, but a lot are successful. How to vote online:
go to the website address http://www.dancingwiththestars.abc.com/ , click on Vote or Vote Now.
On the next page, they want you to click on "Join Now" to register with your email address, birthdate, and a password that you create. You can uncheck the boxes for receiving ABC newsletters, at the bottom of the page, so you don't get ABC TV email news; then click on Register. That makes you a "member" of ABC-TV, and will let you log on with just your email address and password in future weeks' voting. Then on the next page, click on Vote, and on next page, designate your favorite couple, and click on Vote.
Please tell as many people as you can to vote. The press is starting to sit up and take notice, thanks to the great ratings. USA Today had an article about it Wednesday. The Associated Press wrote, "Who would have thought TV viewers would have been intrigued by the idea of Evander Holyfield learning to dance ...?"
